Azra Numanović has been involved with SFK 2000 Sarajevo since 2004, first as a player and later as an administrator. She became Secretary General in 2015, leading the club to maintain its position as Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most successful women’s football team, regularly competing in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Alongside her club role, Azra has been active in European football governance. Since 2015 she has contributed to EFC’s Women’s Football Committee and Working Groups, focusing on competition formats and sustainability, and in 2023 she joined the EFC Board. She has also worked closely with UEFA in various roles, including as a Women’s Champions League Match Director.
Azra's career reflects a strong commitment to advancing women’s football at both national and European level.
