EFC brings together men’s and women’s clubs of all sizes from across the continent — with the mission of helping every member club grow and develop, while ensuring that, collectively, clubs are central to decision-making on the regional and global football stages. Access to Competitions: EFC prioritises ensuring more clubs have access to compete in European and international club competitions. This has included working with our strategic partner UEFA to drive innovative and exciting new formats which deliver for clubs and fans (e.g. new formats for the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and the introduction of Conference League). Football Partnerships and Solidarity: We have long-term strategic partnerships with UEFA and FIFA to ensure clubs are truly at the centre of decision-making in European and world football. These partnerships have helped to deliver significant benefits for clubs, including record levels of solidarity for clubs not participating in European competition (440m annual solidarity for non-participating clubs) and a $250m solidarity commitment from the FIFA Club World 2025. Member Benefits: Our Membership department provides ongoing benefits and services for our member clubs, solving real issues that clubs of every size face spanning legal, financial, commercial, digital, scouting and much more. EFC and UEFA Joint Venture: EFC has ensured clubs have a genuine influence in the future of the tournaments in which they participate. In a landmark move, which is unprecedented in world football, in 2025 EFC and UEFA launched a joint venture, UC3, which establishes clubs as equal partners in shaping the commercial future of men’s and women’s European club competitions, with a similar joint venture partnership being worked on with FIFA.
