Dan Friedkin is Chairman and CEO of The Friedkin Group, a global consortium of businesses and investments across automotive, hospitality, entertainment, sport and adventure. As owner of AS Roma since 2020 and Everton FC following The Friedkin Group’s 2024 takeover, Mr. Friedkin has established himself as a key figure in European football. He also sits on the EFC Executive Committee and Board and represents the organisation in its joint venture with UEFA, UC3 where he plays a central role in managing the commercial rights of UEFA’s men’s and women’s club competitions. Under his leadership, The Friedkin Group continues to innovate and evolve, with a strong focus on fostering the next generation of leaders who will help drive the organisation’s long-term values and success. Outside of football, Mr. Friedkin is deeply engaged in wildlife conservation, aviation and philanthropy. He has championed initiatives in environmental protection, education and opportunities for underrepresented communities. He is also active in the entertainment industry, through Imperative Entertainment, a production company within The Friedkin Group that has delivered award-winning films such as The Square and All the Money in the World. His passion for adventure and aviation has led him to support numerous initiatives in these fields, further underlining his broad impact across sport, culture and society.
Mr. Friedkin holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in finance from Rice University.
