Working Together for European Football

We represent more than 800 clubs across Europe, and we work hard to make sure their voice is heard at the highest levels of the game. Our work is built on strong partnerships and a clear structure that connects directly to football’s biggest decision-making bodies.

Our Partners

EFC works closely with football’s most important organisations to strengthen the game in Europe and worldwide, in particular:

  • UEFA

  • Collaborating on key issues across European football.

  • UEFA Club Competitions — EFC plays a leading role in shaping the future of men’s and women’s club competitions, driving key changes such as format reforms. Through our joint venture, UC3, we also make sure clubs are at the heart of their commercial growth and success.

  • FIFA

  • Helping drive decisions that affect football and our clubs globally.

  • FIFA Club Competitions — Ensuring European clubs play a leading role in the continued development of FIFA’s global club competitions.

Through these partnerships, EFC makes sure clubs influence decisions that impact competitions, players, fans, and the long-term future of football.

How Our Work is Structured

To deliver on its priorities, EFC organises its activities through dedicated areas of focus. These areas connect experts from across our membership and provide direct advice to the EFC Board and club representatives in UEFA, FIFA, and EU committees.

Our Priorities

EFC has nine active priority areas, each focused on a key aspect of the game:

  • Men’s Football

  • Women’s Football

  • Youth Football

  • Commercial & Innovation

  • Finance

  • Legal & Regulatory

  • Sustainability

  • Governance & Development

  • Fans

Each priority area serves as a forum where members share knowledge, develop ideas, and tackle the challenges facing European football. The groups are technical by nature, bringing together professionals with direct expertise in each area.

Their role is to provide practical insight, generate new solutions, and support our leadership — ensuring that clubs remain at the heart of football’s decision-making.
